Baptismal Prep

Each year we have between 100 and 150 baptisms at Holy Redeemer! Closely involved with all of these ceremonies are the members of the Parish Baptism Team. Team members take turns carrying out the following functions:

• Visit the homes of candidates for Baptism to welcome the parents and children into our Parish Community and to obtain the information needed by the Church before the Baptism can take place.
• Participate in monthly training sessions where parents learn about the Sacrament of Baptism and have their questions about the ceremony answered.
• Assist in the preparations at the Church on the day of the Baptisms
