Confirmation is the sacrament by which Catholics receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation. It is a sign of beginning to take on an adult faith committment. It is by no means a "graduation" from practicing the faith, but rather just the beginining of a rich adult faith life!

Baptized children 10 to 15 years of age who have already celebrated the sacrament of Holy Eucharist are eligible to prepare to be confirmed. At Holy Redeemer Parish the process for and the celebration of this sacrament is a family affair and involves both the parent and child. The most important component of the process is weekly attendance at Sunday Mass at Holy Redeemer Parish.

Registration for the preparation process to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation in spring 2023 is now closed. Please check this website and the parish bulletin for the next process to begin in September 2023.
