Fall Bible Study Opportunities

Priests Study Week

During the week of September 28th to October 2nd, the priests in the diocese will be away at a study week. We will not be able to offer Masses on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of that week. The Monday Mass, September 28th, will be offered at it’s regular time of 9am, and the First Friday Mass, October 2nd, has been moved to 7pm.

40 Days for Life

40 Days for Life is a call to action for an end to abortion and begins NEXT Wednesday, September 23rd. We will gather daily in prayer at the southwest corner of Bank and Queen Streets, from 7 am to 5 pm, until Sunday, November 1st. Holy Redeemer’s vigil day is on Thursday October 8th from 7am to 5pm. Come and witness to what we believe ⎯ Human life is sacred and everyone has a right to life.

Truth and Reconciliation

To prepare for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Father Daryold Winkler will join us at the 7pm Sunday Mass to reflect on the path to Indigenous Reconciliation. Fr. Daryold is one of Canada’s few Indigenous Catholic priests and was former pastor at St. Basil parish and a media commentor during the Papal Visit. And congratulations to the Kateri Native Ministry which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this weekend!

Season of Creation
